  FESTIVAL WEEKEND

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Towsontown Festival this weekend!  It was extremely hot, but I had a blast getting to meet everyone who stopped by.  I wanted to throw a couple of the special requests that I had up on this page, and let you know about some of the most asked questions.  So take a look over on the side, and you can find images of the Domino Sugar Factory, fire houses, and the Baltimore Skyline during the day.  For those of you who wanted to take a look, just let me know if you have any further questions about these photos!

Next, the most asked question.. how much bigger can we get??  :)  I absolutely love making the photos as big as possible!  I am currently working on finding a printer where I can get the Baltimore Night Skyline bigger, which yes, was THE most asked question of the weekend.  My current printer doesn't go any bigger, so please be patient with me and I'll be in touch with you all individually when I have more information about what we can do.  I love that you all have the idea of hanging it on big, open living rooms walls!  As for the other images, I'll be putting a bunch up on Etsy later in the week so that you can see the pricing and shipping information for those other big photos.  I'll reach out to you all individually as well, but take a look around and see if you're finding more of what you'd like.

Thanks again for a great show everyone!  Your feedback is always appreciated, so please feel free to email me , leave feedback on my Facebook Page , or give me a call with any comments or questions!

Have a great week,  Chrissy

                      BLIZZARD '10 ...

What a week!!  What a ton of snow, wind, and shoveling out.  And how beautiful all of it was!  While I was trapped in the winter
wonderland of my neighborhood, I was able to take advantage of the many icicles that have been forming  and growing around
every corner.  Roll over or click on each image to view the details of each photograph.  Enjoy!!

CORPORATE EVENT: MPT'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY GALA

When I was approached by the marketing folks at MPT, I was asked to help out with capturing the upcoming 40th Anniversary Gala, which was going to be attended by over 700 guests.  They wanted photographs of as many of the guests as possible, the multiple colorful dining rooms, the main bar/ social room, speaker's presentations, and any other images to document the important night.

Before the guests arrived I walked around the studio/parking lot turned entertainment ballroom to learn my way around.  Each room had a different theme, with different local restaurants catering the evening's dinners.  As the guests started filtering in, I began taking photos of groups of guests.  Before long I couldn't move around the large crowd, not to mention even back up enough to get more than one person in a photo!

At this point I moved to taking photographs of the many delicious looking appetizers plus the big "Happy 40th" cake.  I was able to get MPT hostess Rhea Feikin's photo as she interviewed the VIP's about their experiences and memories of MPT shows.  I also found John Waters and was able to get photos of the famous filmmaker with his old classmates and new acquaintances, and later after dinner as he made his rounds of hilarious speeches in each of the rooms.

As desserts were being tasted back in the main bar after dinner, many enjoyed the company of their business contacts, family, and friends around them.  Dancing broke out, prizes (a car!) was raffled off, and in the end a large amount of fundraising was collected for MPT.  The evening was a success, with over 160 photos in the end to document the Gala.  MPT was able to use the photographs for many PR sources, besides their own website the photos also appeared in The Baltimore Sun, Baltimore Magazine, and Maryland Life.  Happy 40th MPT!
